S.C. Woman Who Allegedly Killed Bride on Her Wedding Day

Jamie Lee Komoroski split with Samantha Hutchinson

South Carolina woman Jamie Lee Komoroski, who was three times over the legal blood alcohol limit when she hit a golf cart and killed a bride on her wedding day in April 2023, has been released on bond.

Komoroski faces reckless vehicular homicide charges and three counts of driving under the influence causing death or great bodily injury.

If she hadn't been brought to trial by March, she would be placed on house arrest in Charleston County. Komoroski's release comes 10 months after the incident.

A crash in Folly Beach, S.C. killed Samantha Hutchinson and seriously injured her new husband, Aric Hutchinson

Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal reported that 34-year-old Miller died from blunt force injuries on April 28.

Her husband has since undergone reconstruction surgeries, broken bones, and a brain injury.

Two other people were injured but survived. Jamie Komoroski's attorney, Chris Gramiccioni, stated that she is not a flight risk or danger to the community and is committed to rehabilitation upon pretrial release.

Komoroski will only be allowed to leave home for medical emergencies or court orders.

Samantha Hutchinson and Aric Hutchinson

Jamie Komoroski, the mother of bride Lisa Miller, was found dead in a car accident in South Carolina.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division's toxicology report revealed that Komoroski had a blood alcohol level of 0.261 percent, which is the legal limit in the state.

She was also alleged to have appeared "dazed and confused" after driving 65 mph in a 25 mph zone before the crash.

Miller and Hutchinson had just left their wedding reception that night, and Hutchinson filed a wrongful death lawsuit on Miller's behalf.
